What Happens After Your Offer Is Accepted?

You found the house. Your offer was accepted.

Now what?

This is when the mortgage process really gets moving.

We finalize your loan application, gather any updated documentation, order the appraisal and submit the loan for underwriting.

The underwriter reviews your income, assets, credit and the property itself. There may be some additional questions or documents needed along the way.

Once everything is approved, the loan moves toward closing.

There are quite a few moving parts, but my job is to help keep everything on track and make the process as straightforward as possible.

After doing this for more than 40 years, I can tell you that good communication makes a big difference.

If you're getting ready to buy, I'd be happy to help you through the process from beginning to end.
